The 1967 Camaro is one of the greatest muscle cars ever designed. I consider it a work of art, an outstanding example of automobile engineering, and as American as apple pie! It set a standard that cars of today can’t match.

In 1965, Chevrolet was watching the Mustang phenomenom take off and the Corvair begin to dwindle in interest. The 67 Camaro was the only first generation Camaro to not have the RPO-Z28 Special Performance Package and the 396-cid displacement engine for SS models.
